Technology Exalts a Nation

Technology exalts a nation by providing a powerful framework for improving the productivity of the people. In most cases, economic growth can be linked to an increase in productivity enabled by new technology. Embracing technology will help your nation create new industries and create jobs. Technology uncovers new areas of human endeavor. It pushes the boundaries of what is possible. It leads to new ways of living, working and communicating. Technology is the foundation for economic growth. Any serious minded nation must understand the role of technology in this way. The things you can build or create today are what set you apart.

After achieving their goal of having 25 French startups valued at over $1 Billion. French President Emmanuel Macron tweeted, “These 25 startups valued at more than a billion dollars, and with them all of French Tech, are changing the lives of French people, create hundreds of thousands of jobs across France and are what make us sovereign!”. In his mind, he understood how technology exalts a nation and reinforces their sovereignty. Many people believe that a country’s culture is what makes them special and secures their future. This is not true. Any culture that does not advance the course of technology will disappear from the face of the earth.

In Proverbs 14:34, we read, “Righteousness exalts a nation.” There will be a drive for productivity if a culture is driven by righteousness. Righteous people are productive. Technology is a side effect of that drive for productivity. Your righteousness is of no effect if it does not contribute to technological advancement. The righteous King Uzziah had machines invented for him by experts, to help in his days (2 Chronicles 26:15). It is technology that will help your nation achieve its goals of improving the standard of living for its citizens. Look towards instigating technological advancement anywhere you find yourself. Technology is what makes a nation stand strong economically.
