To Solve Your Financial Problems, Increase Your Output

Many people spend their lives chasing money. They pray for money, think about money, and worry about money. But perhaps they are looking in the wrong direction. The plan was never to chase money. The plan was always to serve more people. In one of his books, Jerry Savelle shared something he learned from Kenneth Copeland. Whenever the ministry needed more income, they did not look for more ways to get money. They looked for more ways to get the Word out. More books. More broadcasts. More meetings. More people reached. Their conviction was simple: if the message reaches more people, the provision needed for the assignment will follow.

This principle applies far beyond ministry. A teacher who needs more income can teach more students. A writer can publish more books. A software developer can build tools that help more businesses. A doctor can open another clinic. A farmer can cultivate more land. In Scripture, seedtime comes before harvest. A labourer is worthy of his wages because wages are the reward for work done. If you are creating genuine value, serving people faithfully, and solving important problems, there is nothing wrong with expecting increase. Money often follows usefulness. If you focus on increasing your productivity, the money takes care of itself.

Take a moment to examine your financial challenges. Is the answer really another prayer for money, or is God inviting you to expand your reach? Could you serve more customers, publish more content, train more people, build better systems, or improve your craft? Stop hunting for money as though it were hiding from you. Focus instead on increasing your output. Focus on becoming more useful. Focus on reaching more people. The world rewards value, and God rewards faithful labour. To solve your financial problem, increase your output rather than hunting for money.
