You can do all things through Christ that strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). This means you can not actually do anything on your own. You can not watch your world unless you’re sure that you’ve been strengthened to do so by Christ. Many Christians in their zeal to change the world have gotten themselves into trouble. Many of them cut down in their prime with an untimely death. Operating as an agent of change in the world is not just about being smart, and knowing what to do. You need to operate with clear spiritual instructions.
The sense of destiny you feel, deep within your soul, is very valid. A longing for a better future for all. But this future is not just about wishing for change, and doing things on the outside. The first call is a call for prayer and spiritual fortification by the might of the Holy Spirit. To change your world requires more than brilliant ideas. There are principalities and powers, rulers of darkness that must be dealt with. When you try to watch your world, and begin to set out to do the work you’ve been called to do. You would realise that this line of work can be dangerous.
Moses always knew he was the man that was going to deliver the children of Israel from the hand of the Egyptians. But his first attempts were unsuccessful. The only result he got was getting himself exiled. He was trying to solve a problem, trying to get results through hard work without explicit orders from heaven. He was doing the best he could do. But there were no results. When he came back in the power of God, that was when things began to change. You can not achieve world-changing results unless you are double sure that Christ has empowered you for this. Do not throw your life away.
