You have what it takes to play a bigger game than you’re currently playing. However, you underestimate the amount of focus required to break through barriers and begin to operate at a higher level. Your creativity and spiritual gifts necessitate that you grow and mature into a better version of yourself. You must learn to mind your own business and complete the task assigned to you by God. Set aside any sins or weight that are holding you back. Success begins when you fully commit to your most important task.
Many people hope and pray for massive results without thinking enough about the kind of person they need to become. If a carpenter prays for massive success, and wins a contract to produce 1,000 school desks. This would come with a demand to work harder, smarter, and for longer hours. The greater works you dream about requires you to focus long enough to get things done. If you want to work miracles like Jesus, are you also ready to spend 40 days and nights in the wilderness? Concentrating and focusing on your mission.
Hebrews 12:1-2 teaches you to focus, run your race with patience. Lay aside anything that might be weighing you down. Food is not a sin, but it can become a weight. It is difficult to do great things in life if you eat too much. Playing and supporting a football team is not sinful, but we can agree it becomes quite disturbing when you become a football fanatic. God did not create you to fan a football team. You need to wake up, and begin to mind your own business.
