Avoiding Manipulation And Deception By Being As Wise As Serpents

If you want to be effective as the salt and light of your world, you must be prepared to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16). You can’t afford to be a simpleton. Your world is a battlefield. There are numerous parties pushing different agendas, and you must not allow yourself to become a pawn in their power struggles. You must learn to be objective and think for yourself. Do not blindly follow every trend. Do not take a stance on a topic you do not understand. It’s acceptable to say you haven’t formed an opinion on a subject.

Your job is to keep an eye on your world and guide it in the direction that God desires. Your mission requires knowledge, wisdom, and discernment. Without discernment, you are vulnerable to deception and manipulation. There are numerous narratives available on topics ranging from feminism and women’s empowerment to terrorism and banditry. Many sincere Christians have been duped into taking positions that contradict their beliefs. The devil has not stopped operating; they have simply rebranded and repackaged for 2025. We must not be ignorant of the devil’s devices in 2025.

Things don’t just trend on social media. Someone, somewhere is making it top the charts. And there is a reason for that. You come online to see a big debate on bandits and terrorists in a country. You need to start asking questions. Who is sponsoring terrorism in your country? And what’s their end goal? Who is exalting toxic feminism to destroy normal Christian family values? Is homosexuality a better model than normal families? What is the devil doing to families and society? Do not be a simpleton that is working for the enemy without even realising it. Dearly beloved, it is time to watch and pray.
