Stop Singing About Your Problems Everywhere You Go

You will record massive success, and lead a fulfilling life when you go all in with your purpose. Aligning with your purpose is the key to becoming the best version of yourself, and to conquer the anyhowness of life. Focusing on your problems and every disadvantage in your life will do nothing more than bring you pity. The idea that if you complain enough about your problems, somebody will come and help. Changing your life forever in the process. That idea is not correct. That is not how things play out.

From the Bible, we know that Jesus is compassionate, and he wants to solve all your problems. But we also understand that beyond your problems, our Lord also wants you to carry your cross and follow him on his mission. It seems we have oversold the idea of Jesus solving your problems, without also mentioning that you need to grow into purpose. Living day-to-day from a purpose-driven mentality is higher than a solve-my-problem mentality. Apostle Peter didn’t see lack of money as a problem. He counted his anointing to be more valuable as silver. And so, when the beggar asked for alms, Peter gave him something much more valuable.

Purpose is not as mysterious as many people believe it to be. Your purpose is to create value in line with God’s will for your life. Problems are like weeds; they keep popping up here and there. But every day you walk with purpose, you get closer to your heavenly reward. If you’re not sure what a purpose-driven life would entail for you, go serve under the most purpose-driven person you know. This is a better option than continuing to sing songs about pain, problems, and suffering wherever you go.
