You Don’t Have To Fight Spiritual Battles Alone

There is a need to fellowship and pray with others. You should not be praying alone all the time. You need prayer partners. A private prayer group of genuine Christians that understand how to walk in love is a great weapon of spiritual warfare in the hands of the Lord. There is nobody that has the full picture of what’s going on. 1 Corinthians 13:9 says, “For we know in part and we prophesy in part.” When we come together, each of us brings their own piece of the puzzle. Praying with others means more clarity, and it makes more power available.

There are situations in life that you should not confront alone. Wisdom demands that you form a group with others to pray and attack the situation. The Apostles were known for praying together towards the progress of their mission. There are detailed accounts of their intercession for Peter who was imprisoned and likely to be beheaded. The believers prayed for him. An angel was sent to break him out of the prison. He was then taken to the house where they prayed (Acts 12:1-17). In your mission to watch your world, you should consider having or joining a prayer team.

We are all shaped by our background, knowledge and experiences. You know only a part of all that is going on at every point in time. As we fellowship, and pray with others, we can gain better perspectives on the matter at hand, and pray a more complete prayer. Two are better than one. For where two or three are gathered in Jesus’s name, He is there, among them. God’s presence is particularly strong when people unite in faith and community for a common purpose. Corporate prayers can inject new life into your mission, your business, and your world. You don’t have to battle alone.
