Come Out From Among Them

“Come out from among them, and be ye separate” (2 Corinthians 6:17-18). The Bible makes it clear. If you want to walk closely with God, you cannot remain tied to influences that pull you away from Him. This is not just about sin; it’s also about circles that limit you. Look around you. Are the people in your circle moving in the same direction as your calling? If you want results that 99% of people do not have, then you cannot take advice from the same 99%. You must deliberately seek out the light.

In many places, mediocrity is celebrated. People will clap for you for doing what should be considered normal elsewhere. That’s dangerous. If you stay in a place where average is called excellence, you will slowly kill your potential. Instead, find circles where your “exceptional” is treated as the bare minimum. Move to communities where you must step up just to be accepted. Life has requirements. You can’t be doing whatever you like, however you like, whenever you like, and still get results. You can’t ignore the requirements and expect uncommon results. God often uses people and environments to stretch you beyond comfort into your true capacity.

Ecclesiastes 7:5 says the rebuke of the wise is better than the praise of fools. Choose relationships that demand growth from you. Surround yourself with people who challenge you to aim higher, work harder, and believe deeper. These circles will not settle for your excuses. They will push you toward your next level. Separation is not isolation. It is a conscious choice to leave behind what limits you, so you can embrace what will lift you. Your destiny cannot thrive in the wrong environment. Step out to step up. Come out from among them, and be ye separate.
