Everything Is Your Fault, And That’s a Good Thing

You may not have billions. You may not have a top team or capital to throw around. But you do have something: YOU! That’s where your greatest leverage is. You don’t need to be a billionaire to build a future. You just need to take full responsibility for yourself. Your thoughts, your habits, your decisions, your responses. From today, stop blaming your parents, your boss, the economy, or the government. If it’s your life, then it’s your fault. That mindset might be uncomfortable, may even seem unfair at times. But it is the beginning of real power. You only grow when you take full ownership.

This is not just common sense; it’s also biblical. Jesus told a story about a young man who wasted everything (Luke 15). He blamed no one. He didn’t say, “My father didn’t check on me,” or “My brother had it easier.” The Bible says, “He came to himself.” That’s the turning point. The moment you come to yourself. The moment you say, “It’s me. I messed up. And I need to change.” That’s the moment God begins to move in your story. It’s not the government that will kill your dream. It’s your unwillingness to take ownership. That’s where visions go to die.

Your life will shift when you stop looking outward and start looking inward. When you make the decision to take responsibility, you stop waiting for help and start becoming the help. You learn, you stretch, you grow. You do what you can with what you have. Even if you don’t have millions, you can build something. Even if you feel behind, you can catch up. But it begins with this simple truth: You are responsible. This is your life. This is your time. And you must take ownership of the mission God has placed in your hands.
