So, What Are You Waiting For?

Many people want to make a difference, but they believe they need something big to happen first; sponsors, investors, a grand platform. This mindset keeps them stuck, waiting for the “perfect” moment that never comes. Ecclesiastes 11:4 warns us that those who wait for ideal conditions will never sow or reap. If you truly want to make an impact, stop looking for drama and start where you are. Help one person. Teach one person. Support one person. Small actions create real change. The world is not moved by intentions or speeches but by people who take action, however small.

Showmanship and showboating have distracted many from real service. It would seem like many have forgotten that the goal is service. Too many people want to go viral before they become useful. They wait for an audience before they start working. But Jesus didn’t wait for crowds; He started with a few disciples. You don’t need cameras, applause, or recognition to do what is right. The greatest movements in history started with one person helping another. Instead of waiting for investors to fund your vision, why not help the person next to you? That’s how real change begins.

If you keep waiting for the perfect conditions, you may never begin. The difference-makers in this world are those who start small and remain consistent. You don’t need millions to be generous. All you need is a willing heart. You don’t need a title to lead. Just serve where you are. God honors faithfulness in the little things. When you step out and help just one person today, you activate a ripple effect. The world doesn’t change with grand speeches; it changes when ordinary people take action, one life at a time. So, what are you waiting for?
