You Need To Build A Strong, Thriving Business Now

Many Christians see business as a necessary evil. It is more or less something they must do just to survive. They separate their faith from their work, thinking the real assignment is what happens in church. But this mindset is dangerous. If you don’t see business as a core part of your God-given purpose, you will never truly give it your best. The truth is, God needs believers to build strong, thriving businesses. Why? Because businesses shape communities. The companies that succeed in society are the ones that influence it the most. If Christians don’t step up, others will, and they will dictate the culture.

Think about it: who owns the biggest businesses in your country? What do they promote? The companies that dominate industries set the tone for what people watch, buy, and believe. Think about the damage caused by sports betting companies for example. That is why Christians must not just participate in the marketplace but lead in it. If Christian values are to thrive, Christians must build businesses that thrive. Imagine a world where the top media companies, tech firms, telcos, and banks are run by people who fear God. That world is possible, but it won’t happen if believers see business as unspiritual or unimportant.

Jesus calls us to be the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). Light is not meant to hide in a corner; it must shine where it matters. This light is not meant to be restricted to the church. If we want to shape our societies, we must own businesses, lead industries, and drive economic change. Open your heart to the possibility of driving economic momentum. The early church didn’t just preach; they controlled resources and met people’s needs. Today, it is no different. Your business is not just a job—it is your ministry. Build it with purpose, lead with integrity, and let God use you to transform the world.
