You already carry everything you need to start, run, and grow your business, nonprofit, or ministry deep within you. The problem is that it’s not always visible to the natural eye. We often say, “seeing is believing,” but as a person of faith, you must understand that things are received spiritually before they become visible in the physical world. Inside, you have what it takes to make a difference, but because you can’t see it right away, you feel discouraged. This confusion makes it easy to give up, even though you’re closer than you think.
Just like Gideon in Judges 6, you may not see the strength and potential already inside you. When the Angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he was hiding, fearful, and unsure of his ability. Yet, the Angel called him a “mighty man of valor” and urged him to “Go in this might of yours.” Gideon didn’t realize the power he carried until God revealed it. In the same way, this devotional can serve as your sign to step out in faith. You have what it takes—now it’s time to get started.
In 1 Corinthians 15:58, we are encouraged to be “steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,” knowing that our efforts are not in vain. The journey of starting and growing your mission—whether it’s a business, nonprofit, or ministry—requires consistency and unwavering faith. You may not see immediate results, but trust that every step forward is part of God’s bigger plan. You already have everything you need to continue to drive and go forward. Keep moving, keep working, and remain faithful, because your labour, when aligned with God’s purpose, will surely bear fruit.
