You Must Build Momentum In Your Business

Creating momentum in your business is important. It all starts with figuring out where you want to take your skills and business. Once you know where you’re going, it’s very important to keep moving forward, pulling as much weight as you can and pursuing your objectives as quickly as possible. You can’t daydream about momentum; you either have it in your business or don’t. It is beneficial to have great ideas about how your future could look, but momentum is what propels you. Without consciously building momentum in your business, you will eventually become delusional.

The Scriptures make it clear that understanding God’s will is only the beginning; action is what truly matters. In 1 Samuel 21:8, David says, “The king’s business requireth haste,” emphasizing the urgency and dedication needed to fulfill one’s mission. Similarly, Jesus, in Luke 2:49, declared, “I must be about My Father’s business,” showing His commitment to doing the work, not just knowing what needs to be done. Discernment alone won’t build momentum—it’s the act of consistently working towards your God-given purpose that drives progress. As seen in the life of Jesus, it’s the commitment to action that sets things in motion.

Building momentum often comes down to the power of simple, consistent actions. A single seminar on business building may seem small, but when done monthly over 20 years, it can transform a nation. This compounding effect is where true change happens—simple tasks, repeated faithfully, become unstoppable forces. Yet, the challenge lies in commitment. How many are willing to stick with one thing for that long? Momentum doesn’t happen overnight; it’s built over time through persistence and dedication. The key is to start now and keep going, trusting that each small step will lead to significant impact.
