As you pursue your own calling, you will meet teachers and mentors along the way. You will discover books you need to read, skills you need to acquire, and plans you need to make.
Many people pray for bigger opportunities without considering the bigger person those opportunities will require them to become. A businessman may have to return to university at thirty-nine to earn a master’s degree while balancing work and family responsibilities. An entrepreneur may need to master tech, finance, and management to build the company he envisions. A teacher may need years of study before she can shape institutions. None of this is accidental. The assignment is not only about what you will build; it is also about who you must become in order to build it. Great missions do not merely demand sacrifice; they demand transformation.
