Be not deceived, everybody is pushing one agenda or the other. The world tells Christians to “keep your religion private, keep your values to yourself,” yet those same voices loudly push their own agendas. They demand tolerance for their views while showing no tolerance for yours. They shame you into silence, while they advance ideas and lifestyles that openly contradict God’s truth. If Christians fall into this trap of hiding their faith, the result is clear: the godless will dominate public life. This is one reason why so many cities and communities are in chaos. We live in a world where truth-bearers are silent while lies run free.
When nations first separated church and state, the goal was not to build godless nations, but to prevent one denomination from dominating over others. Society was to remain secular, yes, but still anchored in shared moral frameworks of honesty, justice, respect, and human dignity. These were values everyone, whether religious or not, could recognize as good. But today, new voices want to erase even that. They don’t just want religion out of the public square; they want morals gone too. They want freedom without responsibility, rights without truth. And Christians must not be naïve about this shift.
As a Christian, you must learn to stand up, speak out, and live boldly. Do not allow those who oppose truth to walk all over you in the name of “tolerance.” Remember, the Bible says: “We are not ignorant of Satan’s devices” (2 Corinthians 2:11). Everyone is pushing one agenda or another. The question is: whose agenda will prevail in your world? If Christians stay silent, darkness will fill the space. But if we live and speak with courage, righteousness will rise, and God’s light will shape the future.
