For many people, the pressure of daily survival is real. If you are in a place where you are hustling just to put food on the table, God sees you. There is grace for that season. But even in those moments, lift your eyes for a second and think long-term. Don’t let the urgency of today rob you of tomorrow’s future. As you pray for provision, also pray for wisdom to build something. To build a business. Build a ministry. Or build a career. Short-term hustling may feed you today, but long-term thinking will feed generations and multiply your impact for the Kingdom.
This is why you must learn to stick with one thing long enough for it to bear fruit. What if you decided that you would not move on from a project until you had invested 1,000 hours? At 8 hours a day, that’s about 125 days, which is just over 4 months. Imagine giving one business idea, one project, or one assignment that level of focus. After 1,000 hours of real commitment, you would have enough clarity to know if it can work or if it’s time to pivot. What destroys many destinies is dabbling. Dabbling in, dabbling out, but never staying long enough to see results.
Long-term Kingdom impact will always reward you more than chasing quick wins. You need to learn to focus. Do not allow anything to distract you or take your eyes off the prize. Your business, craft, or assignment is like a seed. When you plant it and water it with focus, discipline, and time, it will grow. Stop jumping from one thing to the next. Commit. Build. Give God something He can breathe on. Because if you plant and stay, one day, your tree will bear fruit. Not just for you, but for the world you are called to watch and change.
