God is doing something deep in the hearts of a generation. Across Nigeria, we have seen an unusual move of God. A spiritual awakening that has raised a generation with hunger for truth and capacity for knowledge. This is no accident. When you are trained in the spirit, you begin to interact with knowledge at a different level. Your mind opens up, your discernment sharpens, and you begin to engage the world with insight. The Bible says, “The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord” (Proverbs 20:27). When your spirit is trained, it becomes a channel through which God releases light.
However, spiritual fire is not the final goal. When our spirits are tuned to knowledge, the next step is to structure that knowledge into science. Science leads us to repeatable systems, methods, and technologies. It is through this pathway that nations are built. Without science and technology, there can be no economic autonomy. That’s why Africa continues to be ignored on the global stage. When world powers debate trade, warfare, and influence, Africa is hardly mentioned. Why? Because power flows to where science flows. And science flows to where the spiritually-awakened minds are willing to stay, think, build, and work.
Now, we must sound an alarm. Nigeria has produced a generation on fire. Spiritually alert, intellectually capable. But many are leaving. They’re exporting their spiritual capital and intellectual capacity to nations that already have their systems in place. But we need builders here. The science will not come from heaven. It must be developed by men and women who are spiritually trained and intellectually disciplined. If we do not commit to staying, building, and organizing our knowledge into working systems, we will remain dependent. Let us not waste this awakening. Let us not scatter what heaven has gathered. We must build, or we will lose it all.
