There is a strong connection between your leadership capacity and the success of your God-given mission. Whether it is business, ministry, or social impact, the size and strength of your leadership will determine how far you can go. Many people have a clear sense of calling, but they don’t get very far because they have not developed the ability to lead others. You cannot carry out a big vision all by yourself. If you want to make lasting impact, you must grow as a leader. You must build teams and learn how to empower others.
In business, we describe a company as large when they employ at least 200 people. That’s not just a number. It reflects leadership capacity. Behind every big, thriving organisation is someone who can coordinate people, set direction, and hold the structure together. So, ask yourself: how many people can I lead effectively? Can I help 10 people succeed under me? Can I inspire and organise 50? Do I know how to grow others and build systems that last? If your mission will touch lives at scale, then your leadership must grow in depth and structure.
This is the kind of thinking that transforms lone warriors into nation builders. You can’t claim to be sent to influence the world and still insist on doing everything yourself. Jesus raised 12 disciples. Moses appointed elders. Paul trained leaders in every city. Great impact requires great leadership. If you are truly called to watch over your world, then your prayer should be, “Lord, grow me into a wise and capable leader.” Don’t settle for ambition without capacity. Let God stretch your leadership so you can build what He has called you to build.
