Live your mission. Breathe your mission. Speak about it at every opportunity. If your mission is truly important to you, it should fill your thoughts, shape your actions, and be a constant topic in your conversations. How can you expect to succeed if no one around you even knows what you stand for? The greatest leaders, innovators, and changemakers never kept quiet about their vision. They shared it boldly, and stayed committed no matter what. If you believe in what God told you. If you truly believe in what you are doing, let it be known. Speak it, live it, and watch it come to life.
2 Corinthians 4:13 says, “I believed, and therefore have I spoken.” If you truly believe in your mission, you will talk about it. Silence is a red flag. If you’re not speaking about your vision, it likely means you’re not praying about it. You’re not thinking about it. You’re not actively working on it. Such a dream can never become reality. If your mission only crosses your mind twice a year. Maybe on your birthday and on some random day, then you’re not serious. Whatever consumes your heart must also fill your mouth. Speak it. Live it.
Your mission is not just an idea. It is your assignment. If you are truly called to something, then it must take center stage in your life. It might take time, but grow and mature to that point where people know what drives you. Your words, actions, and daily choices should reflect it. Peter testified about Jesus in Acts 10:38, reminding us about how he went about preaching and doing good. Jesus never failed to announce that the “kingdom of heaven is at hand.” The world is shaped by those who refuse to stay quiet about their purpose.
