But the prayer doesn’t stop there—it begins with a focus on God’s purpose: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” This teaches us that while it’s important to seek God’s help in our struggles, we should also align our prayers with His divine purpose. Begin by asking, “Lord, what You are doing in my generation, please don’t do it without me.” Such prayers connect you to God’s larger plan. Another powerful prayer is, “Father, open my eyes of understanding to recognize my mission in the world around me.” This prayer helps you align your daily actions with divine purpose. Lastly, as you build out a vision, pray for provision: “Lord, equip me with the resources, wisdom, and favor needed to accomplish Your will.” Purposeful prayers draw God’s power into your mission.
