Learn To Work With Others To Achieve Massive Success

In the pursuit of big dreams and impactful missions, the importance of people cannot be overstated. Yet, as we gather people around us to achieve great things, interpersonal problems inevitably arise. Ego, pride, and individual quirks can create barriers, making collaboration difficult. Proverbs 27:17 (NIV) says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” This verse highlights the necessity of working together, even when it’s challenging. You must learn to navigate interpersonal relationships with wisdom and grace, understanding that your success often hinges on your ability to effectively collaborate and harmonize with others. You must learn to share this blue-green earth with others.

In the Bible, Moses had to rely on a diverse group of people to lead the Israelites. Aaron served as the high priest. Miriam played a significant role as a prophetess and leader. Joshua was a key military commander, and Hur supported Moses by holding up his arms during a crucial battle. Despite their differences and personal quirks, their collaboration was essential for the success of their mission. Similarly, in the modern era, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak co-founded Apple. Despite their differing personalities and eventual disagreements, their combined talents and teamwork were pivotal in building one of the most successful tech companies in the world.

Each of us must learn to put the mission above any personal issue. The success of our goals often depends on our ability to work together despite our differences. We must also learn to build relationships with people we might not agree with on everything. While it’s important to align on core values, having a holier-than-thou attitude that isolates you from others will only hinder progress. By fostering an inclusive environment and focusing on the bigger picture, we can work in harmony and achieve greater success together. Remember, isolation limits growth, but collaboration breeds innovation and accomplishment.
