You must come to terms with this truth: no one else is coming to do your assignment. You are responsible for the success of your life and the mission God has placed in your hands. Yes, you need education. Yes, you need mentors. But even the best mentor cannot do the work for you. God can use anyone on earth, and many people believe that. But when it comes to believing that God can use them, personally, they struggle. Your breakthrough starts when you stop looking around and start looking within. You are God’s plan.
In Mark 6, a crowd gathered around Jesus. It was getting late. His disciples came to Him and said, “Let’s send them away.” Jesus said something shocking: “You feed them.” He told the disciples to take responsibility. In that moment, He shifted the mindset from escape to ownership. This same shift needs to happen in your heart. Stop thinking a rich man, or the government, or your uncle is going to do it for you. No one is coming to fix your mission. It’s yours to fix. When you embrace this truth, doors begin to open.
God is not asking you to do everything. But He is asking you to do something. Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can. Once you accept the responsibility, grace will meet you. Clarity will begin to flow. Provision will show up in strange and timely ways. You will find help along the way. But the first step is this: own your mission. God is not confused. He gave it to you on purpose. So stop waiting. You are the one we have been waiting for. Get to work. God is with you.
