The first time we see Goliath in the Bible, the soldiers of Israel are scared. King Saul himself was afraid. Nobody wanted to face the giant. Then a young man named David came and killed Goliath (1 Samuel 17). Many years later, in the same Bible, we see that other giants showed up again. But this time, the soldiers of Israel were no longer afraid. They went after the giants and killed them one by one(1 Chronicles 20:4-8). What changed? They had been trained. They had grown. They had seen it done before. And now, they too had become giant killers.
We see now that with the right training, anybody can become a giant killer. This is what mastery looks like. At first, everyone is afraid. Everything feels too big and impossible. But if you stay close to those who have done it before, if you train well, and if you learn with all your heart, you will also become someone who can face giants. This is true in every area of life. It is true in business. It is true in leadership. It is true in ministry. If you are not seeing big results yet, you must ask yourself: who trained me? What have I truly learned from my master?
You cannot make millions in business without being trained for it. Just like no one becomes a soldier by reading books alone, no one becomes a successful business person by guessing. You must learn the skills. You must study those who have done it well. You must take your apprenticeship seriously. David trained his men. That was why they could kill giants. If you want to win in your field, you must submit to training and go after mastery. God will help you, but you must also do the work. The world still needs masters.
