Many people with a grand vision end up achieving nothing because their vision is not “made plain.” Habakkuk 2:2 reminds us that a clear, written vision is essential for others to run with it. Without clarity, even the most inspiring vision cannot be realized. Additionally, many lack the leadership skills necessary to guide their mission effectively. They fail to build a genuine team, often having individuals working for them, but never fostering true teamwork. This lack of clear vision, leadership, and team spirit is why businesses stagnate and ministries struggle to thrive.
Many young people dream of building billion-dollar companies, but they often struggle to make even a few thousand dollars consistently. This is largely due to a lack of knowledge, quality mentors, and being the sole mind behind their business. For instance, countless tech startups emerge with grand visions but falter because the founders lack the skills and mentorship needed to scale. We can only grow a business to the level of our soul. If you’re the only one working on your business and you don’t know much, how will the business grow? Success requires a team effort and shared wisdom.
One person should not and cannot be the lord, savior, and messiah of a company. For any venture to grow and thrive, high-quality leadership is essential. There is nothing productive or even reasonable in being the only decision maker within your organization. It is far more productive to band together in teams, combining diverse skills and perspectives, to do our best work that glorifies God. True success in business and ministry comes from a collective effort, where each member contributes to the vision. By working together, we can achieve greater heights and ensure that our efforts have a lasting, positive impact on the world.
