May You Find This When You Feel Empty And Out Of Ideas

Many people feel stuck in life. They say they have writer’s block. Business block. Innovation block. But most times, the problem is not lack of ideas. It is disconnection from the Source of ideas. When a person feels empty, it is not because nothing is available. It may be because something is off in alignment. Think about nature. The river does not struggle to flow when it is connected to its source. The problem begins when there is blockage or distance. In the same way, the human spirit begins to feel dry when it is disconnected from God.

Creativity and momentum to keep going in your business or career is not something we manufacture endlessly. It is something we receive continually from the right place. King Uzziah’s story in 2 Chronicles perfectly illustrates this. As long as he sought the Lord, God gave him extraordinary success, inspiration, and the momentum to build a powerful kingdom. His creative military inventions and prosperity weren’t self-manufactured; they were continually received from a divine source. However, when he grew powerful, pride took over. He stopped relying on that source, resulting in his downfall.

Remember the words of Jesus, “I can do nothing by myself.” Everything He did flowed from His relationship with the Father. His words, His wisdom, His timing, His power, all were connected to alignment. He was not operating independently; He was operating in constant connection. Your lost creativity, joy, and momentum can be restored the same way it is sustained. It is through prayer, stillness, obedience, and alignment with God. When you feel stuck, do not only look for new ideas. Check your connection. The flow is still there, but alignment may need to be restored.
